GUELPH, Ont. — The University of Guelph’s School of Hospitality, Food and Tourism Management recently hosted Michael Beckley, Director, CBRE Hotels as its 2017 executive-in-residence.
For 26 years, the School of Hospitality, Food and Tourism Management has been inviting prominent industry professionals to share their knowledge and experiences with students, faculty and the University of Guelph community. During their stay with the school, the executive-in-residence visits classes at each year level and meets with student chapters of professional organizations.
Beckley served as executive-in-residence between March 14 and 16 and his stay was capped off with a gala dinner attended by VIPs from the industry, the student association and the University of Guelph community.
