TORONTO — Trump International Hotel & Tower Toronto opened in the heart of the financial district yesterday, Jan. 31, as the tallest residential building in Canada.

Inna Levitan, CEO and managing partner of Talon Luxury Collection, and Mickael Damelincourt, general manager of Trump International Hotel & Tower Toronto, opened the doors of the 65-floor tower, welcoming guests with an introductory rate of $395 (which ends April 30).

Donald Trump’s $500-million project leads the pack of the luxury hotel-condominium projects to open in 2012, ahead of the Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences and the Shangri-La Toronto.
At the time of the opening, about 60 per cent of the condo units were sold, with remaining condos priced from between $2.3 million and $6.3 million, according to Talon International Development Inc.

The tower includes a luxury spa concept, Quartz Crystal Spa, after-work drinks spot, Suits Lobby Lounge, and 31st floor Stock Restaurant & Bar.
