The certificate is awarded by TripAdvisor to only ten percent of the total listed business to those properties that;
- Maintain an overall rating of four, out of a possible five, as reviewed by travellers
- Have a Presence on TripAdvisor.com for at least twelve months
- Have experienced a significant volume of reviews within the last twelve months
