VANCOUVER — Tourism Vancouver recently announced a partnership with the B.C. Hospitality Foundation (BCHF).

“Tourism Vancouver is proud to be working with the B.C. Hospitality Foundation as our inaugural official charitable partner. The mandate of the BCHF is closely aligned with our new charity policy, which focuses on philanthropic endeavours that support the growth and diversity of the region’s tourism industry. We look forward to promoting the efforts of the foundation and providing assistance in spreading the word about the important work that they do,” said Walt Judas, VP, Marketing Communications, Member Services and Sport.

The BCHF provides financial support to members of the hospitality community who are coping with a financial crisis due to medical or health problems. The foundation also provides scholarships to select students enrolled in hospitality, culinary and wine programs in British Columbia.
