CALGARY — Navitaire, a provider of reservation and retailing systems for low-cost airline carriers, is partnering with Swoop, a low-cost airline backed by WestJet.
Navitaire offers a full suite of solutions focused on revenue generation and streamlining costs in the areas of reservations, ancillary sales, loyalty, revenue management, revenue accounting and business intelligence.
According to Bob Cummings, WestJet executive vice-president, the partnership with Navitaire and the use of the Navitaire’s reservation system will help Swoop create the low-cost structure and ancillary capabilities needed to make Swoop a success with Canadian customers.
