PARSIPPANY, N.J. — The Super 8 hotel brand, of the Parsippany, N.J.-based Wyndham Hotel Group, is celebrating its 40th anniversary with a bang.

“From its humble beginnings as a single hotel in Aberdeen, S.D., to what is now the world’s largest economy hotel chain with more than 2,400 locations, Super 8 has spent the last 40 years earning an enviable place in the hearts of travellers,” said John Valletta, Super 8 brand president. “We’re not only proud of our heritage — one built on the promise of comfortable and affordable accommodations — but incredibly thankful to the millions of customers who have helped us get to where we are today.”

To honour those guests, the brand has launched its 40 Years and Still Looking Super instant win game and sweepstakes, offering travellers in the U.S. and Canada the chance to win travel-themed prizes, including hotel nights, restaurant gift cards, retro t-shirts and Super 8 travel mugs.

Available exclusively at facebook.com/Super8, travellers can enter for their chance to win by liking the Super 8 Facebook page and registering via the sweepstakes tab. The contest runs through Sept. 14. Upon registering, travellers are required to provide their Wyndham Rewards membership number or enrol in the loyalty program.
