SUN PEAKS, B.C. — The Delta Sun Peaks Resort in British Columbia is set to become one of the largest ski resorts in the country as part of its next phase of growth.

As of May 1, the resort will become Sun Peaks Grand Hotel & Conference Centre. The next steps in development include additional trails for outdoor activities, which will connect to Lake Louise.

“Our growing international reputation as one of Canada’s best mountain resorts as well as the ongoing development of our residential community, makes our resort municipality a great place to visit, work and invest in,” said Al Raine, Mayor of Sun Peaks Mountain Resort Municipality. “We’re pleased to see the ongoing commitment of Sun Peaks Resort Corporation that will see Sun Peaks Grand continue as our community’s premier property.”

Sun Peaks has emerged as one of Canada’s must-ski resorts and is recognized by Condé Nast Traveller, Snowboard Canada and Canadian Living magazines as one of the best mountain resorts in the country.
