VANCOUVER — Sandman Hotel Group has opened its 51st location — the Sandman Hotel Abbotsford Airport, B.C.
The hotel features 147 guestrooms, as well as a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, and fitness room. “This new hotel complements our existing Sandman portfolio perfectly, and we are extremely pleased to welcome guests to our second location in Abbotsford, B.C.,” said Taj Kassam, president and COO of Sandman/Sutton Place Hotel Group. “This addition will be our 10th hotel in the Vancouver Lower Mainland area, making us the largest privately owned hotel company in the Vancouver area with 2,400 hotel rooms.”
The property also features an on-site Denny’s restaurant, Bar One and a banquet room, which will open in January.
