VANCOUVER — After months of restoration, Vancouver’s Rosewood Hotel Georgia will open July 15, welcoming its first guests and returning the historic property to its former glory.

“We are delighted to introduce the new Rosewood Hotel Georgia,” said John Scott, CEO for Rosewood Hotels & Resorts. “The opening marks an incredible milestone; the culmination of many months of love, work and dedication by some of Canada’s most respected creative and hospitality industry talent.”

The revitalized property features 155 rooms and suites, including two penthouse suites; the Lord Stanley Suite and the hotel’s signature Rosewood Suite, both with a private rooftop terrace with city views, an outdoor hot tub and a fireplace.

Aside from the rooms, the hotel features one of the country’s largest private collections of Canadian art, a restored ballroom, the Sense a Rosewood Spa and nearly 10,000 square feet of deluxe banquet and meeting facilities.

To mark the opening, Rosewood is offering an introductory rate of $192.70 — a nod to the year the hotel first opened in 1927.
