BAIE D’URFE, Que. — The Rosdev Group has opened the new 140-room Courtyard by Marriott Montreal West Island/Baie D’Urfe.

“From day one, Courtyard has prided itself as a brand that listens to business travellers,” says Callette Nielsen, VP and global brand manager, Courtyard by Marriott. “Today’s technology has changed how people travel. Our guests want a room that has purpose and flexibility that enables a seamless transition between relaxing and working. Courtyard is designed to offer them a relaxing and functional space to work the way they want, when they want.”

The Courtyard sports a new room design featuring hybrid zones for working, sleeping, relaxing and getting ready, as well as a neutral, tone-on-tone colour palette to create a soothing environment. Upon arrival, guests can store bags on the “Luggage Drop” area and plug personal devices into the “Tech Drop” ledge for seamless technology integration. Guestrooms also feature a lounge sofa with a pop of colour and a light desk on wheels so guests can work from anywhere in the room. Meanwhile, the lobby features media pods, complimentary Wi-Fi, a variety of seating zones and a bistro offering healthy menu items for breakfast and snacks as well as cocktails, wine and beer in the evening.

The property boasts several energy-saving initiatives including sound-proofing insulation throughout the entire building, LED lighting, low-e windows and Energy Star-rated equipment.
