MONTREAL — The Residence Inn by Marriott Montreal Downtown has re-opened following a multi-million dollar renovation, boasting new technology, artwork and decor in its revamped public spaces and guestrooms.

“We’re beyond excited to be open again and our guest response has been exceptional,” said Marco Carelli, GM of Residence Inn Montreal Downtown. “Our returning guests are thrilled with the transformation and our new modern look — and we’ve enjoyed meeting many new first-time guests who love how welcome they’ve been made to feel by all of our incredible associates.”

Guests can lounge by the fireplace in the lobby or grab a hot breakfast buffet in The Hearth Room, which features new, floor-to-ceiling windows. Chocolate brown furnishings complement neutral wall colours with a pop of teal. Inside the kitchens, new stainless-steel appliances and cabinetry give the space a boost, while modern bedding features feather and foam pillows. Inside the bathrooms, new design elements include quartz countertops, dark wood cabinets and glass-enclosed showers with new ceramic tile.
