VANCOUVER — This year’s Rendez-vous Canada (RVC) — Canada’s premier tourism marketplace — was the event’s most successful to date.
Held in Halifax from May 13 to 16, RVC 2018 boasted the best attendance in the event’s 42-year history. Hosted by Tourism Nova Scotia, this year’s marketplace welcomed more than 1,900 delegates, including more than 600 international buyers from 29 countries.
“Rendez-vous Canada drew record attendance this year and that means buyers from around the world and sellers from across the country will be driving more international travel to Canada,” says David Goldstein, president and CEO, Destination Canada. “Together, we’re showing that now is the time to visit Canada.”
