TOFINO, B.C. — Pacific Sands Beach Resort has unveiled transformed Lodge Suites inspired by the surrounding landscape of Tofino, B.C. The update to these beachfront suites is part of a $11.2-million renovation project the resort has undergone in recent years.

The redesigned suites are designed to offer a stylish home-away-from-home experience, featuring updated furnishings, new flooring, remodeled kitchens with stainless-steel appliances and bathrooms with improved layouts. Walls were also removed from the suites’ living spaces for a more-open and brighter feel.

Artwork adorning each room features Vancouver Island landscapes by local photographers Jeremy Koreski, Owen Perry and Kyler Vos.

In addition, two Signature Suites were added to the second floor, each with private hot tubs.

In 2018, the resort completed a $10-million renovation that added 43 new suites — increasing total beachfront accommodations to 120 — and introduced amenities such as barbecue pits and beach hammocks. Available in one-, two- and three-bedroom options, each surf-in, surf-out suite features a spacious floorplan, patio or balcony, full kitchen and fireplace.

“We’ve had the pleasure of welcoming visitors to Tofino for over 45 years and continue to look for ways to elevate the resort and provide incomparable service,” says Sabrina Donovan, Operations manager, Pacific Sands Beach Resort. “We’re beyond thrilled with the resort’s recent transformation and look forward to showing new and returning guests how much of an oceanside paradise Pacific Sands truly is.”
