OTTAWA — CAA North & East Ontario (CAANEO) has announced five Ottawa-based hotels demonstrating hospitality excellence and earning a CAA/AAA Four-Diamond rating for 2013.
Brookstreet Hotel, Fairmont Château Laurier, Minto Suite Hotel, Ottawa Marriott Hotel and The Westin Ottawa were named, as part of the 5.1 per cent of 30,000 CAA/AAA-rated hotels that received a Four-Diamond rating. The Westin Ottawa is one of 110 lodgings to uphold its designation for 25 or more consecutive years.
“To attain and maintain this recognition in hospitality excellence is a significant achievement that each of these establishments should take pride in,” said Korey Kennedy, manager of Public & Government Affairs for CAANEO. “CAA North & East Ontario is proud to be able to recognize these dedicated local businesses with the Four-Diamond rating.”
Hotels that achieved the rating of one to five diamonds were based on an inspection of the extensiveness of services, quality of facilities and available amenities.
