VANCOUVER — A new online video blog is documenting the transformation of Vancouver’s O’Doul’s restaurant, located inside the Listel Hotel.

“O’Doul’s has done its time and it’s ready for a major upgrade, whatever that might look like,” admits Jim Mockford, regional GM, Listel Hotels, while speaking about the 40-year-old restaurant.

The “Next Course” rebrand is being captured online with a series of video clips showing management discussing the re-invention. “I don’t think as far as a food philosophy we need to change too much,” says Chris Whittaker, executive chef, who would like to work more closely with Ocean Wise.

The Listel team has engaged The Green Table Network to help build a sustainable restaurant. They’ve partnered with B.C. Hydro Power Smart, LiveSmart B.C. and the Calif.-based Food Service Technology Center.
