VICTORIA — Two key management positions have been filled at Victoria’s Oak Bay Beach Hotel, as the hotel prepares for a spring launch. Joining the company is Michelle Le Sage and Sarah Henderson (pictured) as hotel manager and rooms division manager, respectively.

According to Kevin Walker, operator and partner in the newly renovated hotel, “As two accomplished hospitality professionals, I’m confident Michelle and Sarah will help lead our hotel to success by providing superior customer service and creating incredible guest experiences.’

A veteran of the lodging industry, Le Sage brings years of management experience to her new role. “Taking the role of hotel manager at the Oak Bay Beach Hotel, arguably what’s gearing up to be the city’s most luxurious and sought-after accommodation, is truly a dream come true,” said Le Sage.

A former employee of the original Oak Bay Beach Hotel, Henderson is happy to return for the spring opening. She’s held numerous positions in the hospitality industry including experiences in Edmonton, Calgary and Scotland. Henderson says she is “thrilled to see this day finally come; to be back working with the [Oak Bay] team.”

In 2006, the doors of the original Oak Bay Beach Hotel hotel closed. Management and investors then embarked upon a $52-million rebuild. The Oak Bay Beach Hotel will re-open in the spring as a 100-room hotel with 20 luxury residences and vacation hotel suites.
