SUFFERN, N.Y. — A former Holiday Inn in Suffern, N.Y., recently re-emerged as a four-star Crowne Plaza Hotel and Conference Centre.

The six-month rebranding effort was led by the Goldstein family and Glenn Squires, CEO of the Nova Scotia-based hotel management firm Pacrim Hospitality Services. The newly launched hotel features 230 guestrooms, including six two-room suites and 15 executive suites as well as a conference centre and three ballrooms. It also holds the region’s largest conference centre with 11 meeting rooms within 25,000 sq. ft.

“The Holiday Inn played a vital role in the Lower Hudson Valley for more than three decades,” said Squires. “Times have changed and so has the demand for a hotel with the prestige that the Crown Plaza brand carries. I look forward to working with the Goldsteins to ensure the Crowne Plaza Suffern meets and exceeds all expectations.”
