VANCOUVER — The newly opened JW Marriott Parq Vancouver is preparing to host its first major event — the David Foster Foundation 30th Anniversary Miracle Gala at Rogers Arena on Oct. 21.
The JW Marriott Parq Vancouver and the Douglas are presenting sponsors of the three-day event benefiting Canadian families with children in need of life-saving transplants.
As the largest private development in British Columbia, the JW Marriott Parq Vancouver, features 281 rooms and 48 luxury suites with luxurious interiors designed by Ontario-based Studio Munge, as well as Canada’s first Spa by JW. Its sister hotel, the Douglas, offers 178 rooms and 10 suites that pair original touch points by Rob Wells of SixteenFifty Creative Intelligence with thoughtful interiors by Vincent Celano of Celano Design Studio.
Both hotels lead visitors to Parq Vancouver’s signature attraction, a 30,000-sq.-ft., sixth-floor outdoor park featuring more than 200 native pines and 15,000 local plants.
Parq Vancouver also features more than 60,000 sq.-ft. of multifunctional meeting and event space.
