COLLINGWOOD, Ont. — Living Water Resort & Residences is committing to the future of its community by setting a multi-year donation goal of $100,000 in support of scholarship programs and building developments at Georgian College’s South Georgian Bay Campus.

The resorts plans to raise the donations through a variety of initiatives including the Annual Cranberry Charity Golf Tournament, which raised $15,000 in 2015, its inaugural year.

The funds raised are intended to build social, educational and employment enterprise in the local community, with the focus of the scholarships funded going towards entrepreneurship and hospitality programs.

“We are proud to be able to take our business as a mission,” said Larry Law, president. “A mission to help to build a more profound and harmonious community.”

Along with the funding, Living Water has committed its senior staff to the college where they will act as mentors and guest trainers.
