TORONTO — Gerasimos Ferentinos has been appointed GM at the InterContinental Toronto Yorkville.

Gerasimos has worked in the hospitality industry for more than 15 years and has held roles including director of Finance and Business Support at the InterContinental Budapest, as well as executive assistant manager and later, hotel manager, of the InterContinental Berlin. In 2014, Ferentinos helped the property achieve an IHG Green Engage Level Three certification. Green Engage is a global certification program allowing hotels to track, measure and report on their carbon footprint and utility consumption.
