MONTREAL — The InterContinental Montreal is showing off new meeting rooms after a $3-million renovation, which included the implementation of technology, modernized decor and upgraded food-and-beverage offerings.

“The renovation of our meeting space provides an opportunity to revisit the hotel’s offer and enhance the comfort and well-being of our guests,” said Bernard Chêvevert, GM. “By following the innovative spirit of the InterContinental brand, we wish to give our guests the possibility to book their events in a place where the atmosphere and type of expected services are reminiscent of a private club, all without membership fees.”

Each meeting room features new audio-visual equipment, in addition to a touch screen to control the ventilation, background sound, brightness and temperature. Buffet services include new permanent induction hobs as well as six new WMF coffee machines. The design also includes upgraded fixtures, furniture, wallpaper and carpet as well as a new library.
