TORONTO — Raymond Domenico, general manager of Toronto’s Hotel Victoria, passed away suddenly Friday, Jan. 21.

Domenico spent the last 62 years in the hotel industry, starting as a bell hop at the Royal Connaught Hotel in Hamilton, Ont., before working his way across Canada and the United States to become a well-respected hotelier with notable positions at Holiday Inn, The Hotel Triumph, Essex Park Hotel and Mohawk Inn. For the last 14 years he operated the Hotel Victoria in downtown Toronto.
