TORONTO — Margaret June McDougall passed away in Toronto on Nov. 21 at the age of 57, following a 13-year battle with metastatic Melanoma.

McDougall received a B.A. from Queen’s University, Kingston, Ont., in 1981. She chose to focus her career in the hospitality industry. Beginning as a front-desk clerk in Canada, she retired as the managing director of various Boston and New York hotels. Throughout her career she worked at Delta Hotels, Ian Schrager Hotels, Interstate and Starwood hotels across North America.

McDougall is survived by her husband Drew and three daughters — Jaime, Pippa and Jackie — as well as her siblings Gayle, Lindsay, Scott and Eric.
