ATLANTA — The Atlanta-based InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has brought its first extended-stay Staybridge Suites hotel to Edmonton.

Owned by Terracap Group in Toronto and managed by Crescent Hotels & Resorts in Toronto, the new 122-room Staybridge Suites West Edmonton is located at 16929 109th Ave. N.W. “The hotel’s proximity to multiple local corporate offices, the Shaw Convention Centre, and the comfort and convenience of an all-suite hotel, positions the Staybridge Suites West Edmonton to quickly become the premier location to accommodate all travellers visiting the Edmonton area,” said Michael George, CEO and president, Crescent Hotels & Resorts. “Our continued expansion in Canada with this strong brand further speaks to the importance of our relationship with IHG and our continued partnership in operating quality properties throughout Canada and the U.S.”

In addition to studios and one- and two-bedroom suites, the Staybridge Suites West Edmonton includes a complimentary daily hot breakfast buffet, evening reception, a guest laundry room, a fitness centre, a guest lounge, a business centre as well as 700-sq.-ft. of meeting space.
