TORONTO — InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has revealed its list of the top 150 Hidden Gems in Canada. These Hidden Gems were selected based on a three-month contest that asked Canadians to share their favourite travel spots from coast-to-coast.

The final 150 destinations, which were presented in partnership with television personality Jennifer Valentyne, were selected from a pool of more than 4,000 submissions generated through the contest. Featured travel spots include:
• Altona Sunsets, Manitoba
• Bonnechere Caves, Ont.
• Chelton Beach, P.E.I.
• Emerald Lake, Yukon
• Ferryland Lighthouse, N.L.
• Mahone Bay, N.S.
• Maligne Canyon, Alta.
• Cherry Hill Gate, Ont.
• Peak of ‘La Roche’, Que.
• Quidi Vidi, N.L.
• Grassi Lakes, Alta.
• Spotted Lake, B.C.
• The Red Boat, Nunavut
• University Bridge, Sask.
• Nahanni National Park, N.W.T.
