ATLANTA, Ga. — Following its $1 billion re-launch, Holiday Inn has opened two new properties — one in Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., and one in Bonnyville, Alta.

The Holiday Inn Express in Sault. Ste. Marie, Ont., is a 75,000-sq.-ft converted property located at 320 Bay St. It features an indoor pool, fitness centre and complimentary Express Start breakfast bar with egg and meat selections, biscuits, yogurt and fruit.

“More than $10 million was invested in the conversion of this property, and we are looking forward to welcoming new guests,” said Dave Cartmill, GM. “Holiday Inn Express is modern, fresh and uncomplicated, which is a perfect fit for visitors to Sault Ste. Marie.”

The newly upgraded Holiday Inn Express in Bonnyville, Alta. has also opened to the public, after a $13-million renovation. The 65,100-sq.-ft. property features an indoor swimming pool and sauna, Express Start breakfast bar and standard guestrooms that offer queen- or king-sized beds, a sitting area and an in-room coffee machine with complimentary coffee.
