VANCOUVER — The 644-room Hyatt Regency Vancouver is for sale, according to Toronto’s Financial Post.
It’s not unreasonable to think the Hyatt Regency Vancouver could sell in the same price range as the nearby Westin Bayshore, which was part of a sale of Westin properties last year that fetched $765 million for five hotels, Carrie Russell, the Vancouver-based managing director of HVS, told the paper.
This year a handful of prized hotels have hit the market, including Toronto’s Fairmont Royal York, the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver and Toronto’s Park Hyatt. [business.financialpost.com]
