CALGARY — Hyatt Hotel Corporation has opened its second Hyatt Place hotel in Alberta — the company’s ninth hotel in Canada. The 127-room hotel features the Hyatt Place brand’s innovative design and an upscale-casual atmosphere.

“As Calgary continues to grow and thrive economically, we are so excited to add to the momentum by welcoming the Hyatt Place Calgary Airport,” says Jenna Lambert, director of Sales and Marketing at Hyatt Hotels. “With social spaces and guestrooms designed with the travellers needs in mind, this new property really brings something fresh and innovative to the Northeast sector of the city.”

Featuring a wide array of guestrooms and suites, the hotel also offers a 24/7 Gallery Menu & Market, 3,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, a coffee-and-cocktails bar and a 24-hour gym.

“Calgary is a vibrant city, filled with amazing people, great neighborhoods and an ever-expanding list of fantastic places to visit and things to see,” says Lisa Wigg, GM of the hotel. “Our hotel is central to all of them and we are confident that the Hyatt Place Calgary Airport will exceed guest expectations and provide them with everything they need while visiting our area.”
