TORONTO — Howard Johnson Canada has joined with the Harlem Globetrotters to recognize students who have made a contribution within their communities.

“Howard Johnson Canada is a sponsor of the Harlem Globetrotters’ Canadian tour,” said Glen Blake, “and they bring happiness to people the world over. We thought it was the perfect event to recognize and reward students who make our communities a happier place.”

Four students from Harry Miller Middle School were recognized for their efforts. The winners and their families received tickets to the Harlem Globetrotters game held last weekend in St. John, N.B., where they were also recognized and met the team.
