CALGARY — Hotel Arts Group is rebranding its Kensington Riverside Inn as the Hotel Arts Kensington on July 1.

The Calgary-based property is being rebranded to deliver a more welcoming, relaxed hospitality experience and better reflect Hotel Arts Group’s values. Under its new banner, the property will look to mirror the energy of the surrounding neighbourhood with its refreshed outlook.

“We want guests to feel comfortable in a welcoming environment,” says Mark Wilson, general manager and vice-president with the Hotel Arts Group. “The rebrand should showcase that intimate, stylish experiences and warm, welcoming service are not mutually exclusive.”

The rebrand also heralds the end of the property’s membership with Relais & Chateaux. Designated as Calgary’s only Relais & Châteaux property in 2014, Wilson notes that “the difficult decision to leave the association is based on a cultural shift to provide a more approachable experience for valued guests that will in no way impact the level of service and personal attention provided at the hotel.”
