SHERWOOD PARK, Alta. — The InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has announced the opening of the Holiday Inn, Sherwood Park Conference Centre hotel in Sherwood Park, Alta.

Located in the business district, the 258-room hotel features 17 meeting rooms, a pool and a fitness centre. The hotel is business focused, with workstations and free Wi-Fi. The design is also trend forward and features an elegant ballroom and private outdoor terrace. The guestrooms are re-designed with the standard Holiday Inn guestroom accommodations and the Presidential suite boasts a fireplace and lounging area.
The hotel opening follows a multi-million dollar investment in renovations by Alberta-based AUM Hotels Group.
