TORONTO — InnVest Hotels recently completed a $6.8-million renovation of the 195-room Holiday Inn Express – Toronto Downtown. The property now features the Holiday Inn Express brand’s newest design solution, which was created to meet the evolving needs of the brand’s target guest.
Renovations to the 14-storey property feature a complete revamp of all furniture and finishes in the lobby — including the addition of new flexible work and dinning spaces on the ground level — as well as a new mini-market, where guests can pick up snacks, drinks and select toiletries, and a new Express Start Breakfast area with a clean, modern design.
The hotel has added new modern furniture, amenities and decor to the guestrooms. Guests can also enjoy in-room Timothy’s coffee from a Keurig machine, a mini fridge, microwave and safe, as well as windows that open.
A second-floor mini gym, with modern strength and cardio equipment, has also been added to the property.

The Holiday Inn Express – Toronto Downtown is owned by InnVest Hotels and managed by Westmont Hospitality Group, under a license agreement with InterContinental Hotels Group.
