MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Keeping up with St. John’s, N.L.’s growing hotel development, Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton has opened its first property in the city.
Owned by Mississauga, Ont.-based Manga Hotels, the 129-room hotel is located near the city’s airport. “This brings an estimated 50 new jobs to the St. John’s area, so we are glad to add that to the local economy,” said Sukhdev Toor, president and CEO of Manga Hotels, which operates 10 hotels in Canada and the U.S.
Hampton Inn & Suites properties feature a “Perfect Mix” lobby, which functions as an extension of the guestroom with 24-hour coffee and tea and a variety of seating and lighting options. Other amenities include a free hot breakfast, a fitness facility, an indoor saltwater pool and 2,500 sq. ft. of meeting space.
The property is located at 411 Stavanger Dr.
