MARKHAM, Ont. — Shovels hit the dirt yesterday to officially mark the construction of a new Hampton Inn & Suites Markham, adjacent to the Homewood Suites by Hilton Toronto-Markham.
Located near Highway 407 and Woodbine Avenue in Markham, Ont., the new seven-storey development will feature free high-speed Internet, an indoor swimming pool and fitness centre, complimentary breakfast and a 24-hour business centre.
The property will be operated by JM Hospitality Group, a Markham, Ont.-based hotel owner, developer and manager, who will operate the property under a licence agreement with Hilton Worldwide.
The Hampton Inn & Suites Markham is scheduled to open in July 2014.
