OTTAWA — The team at the Hotel Association of Canada (HAC) has announced this year’s Hall of Fame Awards of Excellence winners.

“The goal of HAC’s awards program is to reward strong standards in the industry that will enable Canada to remain competitive,” said Tony Pollard, HAC president. “We are pleased to honour the 2013 award recipients, whom we feel represent some of the finest examples of professionalism, quality and excellence.”

The winners are recognized in three categories. This year’s honourees are Tigh-Na-Mara Seaside Spa Resort & Conference Centre on Vancouver Island, B.C. (Humanitarian), The Gold Eagle Lodge in North Battleford, Sask. (Human Resources) and Delta Hotels & Resorts, based in Toronto (Green Key Environment).

The awards will be presented Feb. 12 at the HAC conference.
