OTTAWA — Entries are now being accepted for the 2011 Hall of Fame Awards of Excellence, presented by the Hotel Association of Canada (HAC).
The awards have honoured the effort and dedication of professionals in the lodging industry for the past eight years. Entries are collected for various awards, including The Humanitarian Award and The Human Resources Award.
Nominations are also open for the Stephen Phillips Passion for Hospitality Bursary. The bursary — in memory of Stephen Phillips, former vice-chairman/CEO of AFM Hospitality Inc. — is awarded to the hospitality student who best represents the qualities Phillips brought to the industry. Winners will be honoured March 6 during HAC’s Annual Conference at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel.
