TORONTO — A piece of Toronto hotel history can be yours for the right price at the Four Seasons Hotel auction to be held at the property’s original Yorkville location on Avenue Road, from May 31 to June 2.

The auction, conducted by International Auction and Appraisal Services Worldwide (IAAS), will include everything, from Truffles restaurant’s signature iron gates to The Regency Ballroom’s double-height doors, the hotel’s ornate mirrors and century-old crystal chandeliers. Gourmands might like various culinary-related items, including kitchenware, chafing dishes, buffets trays, dinnerware and measuring spoons used in the hotel’s kitchens.

“The Four Seasons was a glamorous destination for many international travellers, celebrities and socialites,” says Alan D. Loeser of IAAS Worldwide. “The public is invited to place bids and take home a piece of well-appointed history.”

Interested individuals can preview the auction May 29 and 30, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. For more information, visit iaasworldwide.com.
