LONDON, Ont. — With an eye toward attracting a wider variety of corporate and social events, Four Points London expanded its convention centre footprint following a renovation at the property.

A complete rebuild of the lobby and public spaces, has given way to a new lobby, ballroom, restaurant and 4,000 sq. ft. of additional meeting space. “We consulted with the best in design and with feedback from guests we’re delighted with the finished results,” said Victor Hayter, president of Sylvanacre Properties, owner of the Four Points by Sheraton. “We look forward to welcoming meeting delegates and special event attendees.”

The three-storey lobby design includes a mezzanine overlooking the hotel foyer and a curved front desk finished in walnut. Floor-to-ceiling windows, a curved-glass staircase, fireplace and flat-screen TV feature in the new design. The renovation also included revamping the property’s restaurant; the new Vic’s on Wellington casual-dining spot serves comfort food and replaces Tuscany’s restaurant. Additionally, a new ballroom on the second floor has been created, offering meeting planners flexibility.
