STAMFORD, Conn. — Starwood Hotels & Resorts is preparing to debut its first Four Points by Sheraton hotel in Edmundston, N.B., in July 2013.
“We look forward to debuting the Four Points brand in Edmundston, as we aggressively grow the brand in dynamic markets across Canada,” said Brian McGuinness, senior vice-president of Specialty Select Brands for Starwood of the $2.5-million conversion from a Clarion to a Four Points by Sheraton. “At Four Points, we are committed to delivering an honest value, genuine service and the amenities guests need to stay productive on the road.”
The new hotel will feature 102 rooms, 671 square feet of meeting space, a heated indoor pool, a 24-hour fitness centre and full-service dining. The property is attached to Edmundston Convention Centre with 14,000 square feet available for meetings and special events and to the Carrefour Assomption facility that includes commercial space, a shopping centre and offices.
