VANCOUVER — First Canadian Management Corp. (FCMC), through its affiliated companies, has completed the acquisition of the 143-room Charlottetown Inn & Conference Centre.

A well-known landmark in the Charlottetown hospitality landscape, the hotel features an indoor pool, fitness facility and more than 8,000 sq. ft. of meeting space.

“We are very pleased to add Charlottetown Inn & Conference Centre to the FCMC family of hotels, located,” says FCMC president & CEO, Fayaz Manji. “Looking forward, we hope to enhance the quality of the guest experience at this hotel. We also look to continue our expansion plan, vis-à-vis future strategic geographic acquisitions as we grow our portfolio.”

The FCMC group of companies, with headquarters in Burnaby, B.C., owns and manages various hotels throughout Canada and senior-care facilities in B.C.
