VANCOUVER — Workers at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver have voted in favour of legal job action if a new contract cannot be reached by this weekend.
The workers are members of Unifor Local 4275, which, following the strike vote, is in a position to serve 72-hour notice of a legal strike.
“In this round of bargaining we want to ensure that our members share in the gains made by their hotels,” said Mario Santos, Unifor National Representative.
