VAUGHAN, Ont. — Element by Westin is coming to Canada, with the first hotel slated to open in the Vaughan West Business Park in Vaughan, Ont. in 2013.

Managed by Atlific Hotels, the 152-room Element hotel is marketed as an eco-conscious space, offering complimentary wellness programs and healthy food options at Rise — its daily complimentary breakfast buffet of smoothies and low-fat breakfast wraps. Guestrooms feature urban designs with custom-designed closet systems, entertainment centres and signature Westin-brand relaxation beds.
Guestrooms also offer in-room recycling bins, water-efficient faucets, eco-friendly paints and a “Bikes-to-Borrow” system, which encourages a healthy lifestyle while on the road.
Canada’s second Element hotel, the Element by Westin Vancouver, is slated to open in 2014.
