The Westin Toronto Airport

TORONTO — One year and $10-million later, the Easton’s Group of Hotels has unveiled a new look and new name for its airport property. The renovation of the former Bristol Place Hotel — a landmark hotel at Pearson International Airport — includes an update of all guestrooms and suites and the property’s on-site restaurants, Crosswinds Restaurant & Bar and Atmosphere Restaurant. The refresh also includes updated meeting spaces and a modernized lobby space.

Speaking to more than 300 guests including a mix of industry execs and special dignitaries at the reception to introduce the refreshed property, Steve Gupta, owner and CEO of the Easton’s Group of Hotels, said “We are very proud of The Westin Toronto Airport’s transformation. While many guests may have stayed with us in the past, now is a great time to experience the revitalized experience. This impressive project provides our guests with amenities and offerings that will appeal to every aspect of their experience with us, from business to leisure and everything in-between.”

Highlighted in the transformation of the Westin Toronto Airport is a complete refresh of all guestrooms, offering an array of signature Westin services and amenities, including the world-renowned Heavenly Bed and Heavenly Bath experience. Special light fixtures with device-charging USB ports allow guests to stay connected during their stay.

The redesign offers a tangible sense of energy throughout the hotel, particularly in the revitalized lobby. A ‘Westin Haven’ community work table in the lobby, plus computers and a printer for guests, accommodate quick and on-the-spot business needs. The hotel’s 20,000 sq. ft. of customizable meeting space has also been modernized, offering fresh, elegant rooms capable of hosting any type of event.

In addition to the renovated spaces, the hotel has also updated and renamed its two foodservice units. Crosswinds Lounge & Bar allows guests to connect and unwind while enjoying a wide selection of signature dishes incorporated into small plates and shareable items while Atmosphere Restaurant, formerly Zachary’s, is an airy space that complements the hotel lobby with a luxurious modern flare and nutritious menu that will inspire travellers to maintain a healthy lifestyle while on the road. The hotel also features a lobby-level Starbucks, offering guests express coffee as well as a grab-and-go stand with a variety of hot and cold beverages, pastries and light snacks.
