TORONTO — Delta Hotels and Resorts unveiled its flagship hotel in Toronto’s South Core Financial Centre, slated to open in late 2014.
“The Delta Toronto is truly a unique hotel property in the Greater Toronto Area market. Toronto has not seen a purpose-built four-star full-service hotel in two decades. We are excited to bring our upscale hospitality experience, as well as our reputation for service excellence, to Toronto’s newest neighbourhood,” said Ken Greene, president and CEO of Delta Hotels and Resorts at the topping off event, marking the completion of the hotel’s 46th floor.
The 567-room property features rooms with more than 400 sq. ft., as well as a number of rooms with four-piece bathrooms featuring freestanding tubs and separate showers. The hotel’s ground floor will host a contemporary 230-seat restaurant featuring an 80-seat outdoor patio and bar with views of the surrounding cityscape. The hotel will also include extensive health-and-wellness facilities including a gym, yoga studio, steam room, whirlpool and indoor pool. Additionally, the hotel will offer 17,000 sq. ft. of technologically advanced meeting and conference facilities as well as a 6,000 sq. ft. ballroom and 4,000 sq. ft. terrace available for outdoor events.
