TORONTO — Delta’s undergone some brand repositioning in the past year, and the chain has also expanded its senior leadership team to include new positions in technology, marketing, legal and asset management.

“I am thrilled to be adding such a talented group of seasoned leaders to the Delta organization,” said Ken Greene, president and CEO, Delta Hotels and Resorts. “The newly expanded leadership team will further strengthen our brand repositioning and better prepare the company to reach its growth strategy.”

Yu Jin (pictured) is the new VP, Technology and chief information officer, in charge of the development, guidance and refinement of the company’s information technology initiatives and processes. Previously Jin was VP of Information Technology at Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts.

Charles McKee was named VP, Marketing, and will develop and execute marketing strategies to support business growth and enhance brand equity and awareness. McKee was previously VP, International at the Canadian Tourism Commission.

Beth Gearing is the new VP, Legal. She will manage Delta’s legal and regulatory matters. Previously, Gearing was a partner at Blakes, where she practised business law for more than 20 years.

Marianne Duguay was appointed VP, Asset Management, and will develop and executive the asset management plan for each of the bcIMC-owned assets, concentrating on driving asset and portfolio value of Delta’s properties. Previously she was executive director of Hotel Analysis at Fairmont Raffles Hotels International.
