“We felt it was time to acknowledge those who have laid the foundation for the success of our industry. There are so many great resort projects, companies and people who take business risks,” said Jon Zwickel, president and CEO of CRDA.
The award recognizes an outstanding vacation ownership professional, company, homeowners association or resort that has made an impact through its use of innovative planning, financing, developing, marketing and selling techniques. The winner will have demonstrated a seized opportunity, addressed need or resolved problem. They also should have communicated and engaged the marketplace while achieving outstanding results and commercial success; and they should have a lasting impact on vacation ownership, the environment and society.
