CALGARY — Eric Watson has been named the COO of Calgary’s MasterBuilt Hotels Ltd. (MBH), which was founded by Superior Lodging Corp. and Jayman MasterBuilt in 2011.
Watson was previously VP of Superior Lodging Corp., and was integral to MBH’s development and hotel operations’ groups, including positioning Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham as a fast-growing hotel brand. “Eric is highly respected by our partners, employees and industry peers and has already proven to be a tremendous asset in shaping the company’s strategy and delivering exceptional results,” said Marc Staniloff, chairman and CEO of Superior Lodging Corp.
In his new role, Watson will develop MBH’s vision, strategy and leadership.
