NEW YORK — Langdon Hall Country House Hotel & Spa in Cambridge, Ont., was rated the number-1 hotel in Canada by Condé Nast Traveler magazine in its yearly Readers’ Choice Awards survey.

“We are truly honoured that the readers of Condé Nast Traveler chose us as the best hotel in Canada for the second year in a row,” said Mary Beaton, co-owner of Langdon Hall. “Receiving this award is especially meaningful as it comes directly from loyal guests,” said William Bennett, partner.

The properties rounding out the top five include Auberge Saint-Antoine in Quebec City; Queen’s Landing, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ont.; Sooke Harbour House, Vancouver Island, B.C.; and Le Saint-Sulpice, Montreal. The top 10 includes properties such as the Fairmont Pacific Rim in Vancouver and The Ritz-Carlton in Toronto.

The Reader’s Choice Awards are published yearly in the November issue of Condé Nast magazine.
