MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Comfort by Choice Hotels Canada is opening a new hotel in Bowmanville, Ont.
The brand continues to grow at an aggressive pace, with Comfort Inn & Suites Bowmanville being the 62nd Comfort hotel to open in Ontario and the 147th across Canada. There are six more new-build Comforts scheduled to open in Ontario over the next year, as well as one in Quebec in 2019 and two in Alberta in 2020.
The newly built property boasts 72 guestrooms, business meeting room, heated indoor pool, exercise room, guest laundry, free Wi-Fi and a complimentary hot breakfast.
“We’re seeing some great opportunities in secondary and tertiary markets in Ontario and across the country for development of new-build Comforts and Bowmanville was a perfect fit,” says Brian Leon, president of Choice Hotels Canada. “Our team actively looks at markets with little or no branded-hotel presence and municipalities that are supportive and happy to have a hotel such as Comfort come to town.”
