TORONTO — Choice Hotels Canada is adding electric vehicle owners to its guest list with the recent addition of charging stations at several of its hotel properties across the country.
Working in collaboration with Saskatoon-based Sun Country Highway Ltd., Choice hotels in Quebec, Ontario, Alberta, Manitoba and British Columbia are participating in the program with 16 hotels on board.
“By adding charging stations in some of our most popular and well-known hotel chains, like Comfort and Quality, we help support Canadians looking to reduce their carbon footprint,” said Tim Oldfield, managing director, Choice Hotels Canada. “Travel can have such an impact on the environment, and with the demand for zero-emission transportation continuing to increase, our partnership with Sun Country Highway is natural next step for us.”
